Pirate Ghost Stories
Hidden treasure may very well be haunted and every once in a while it is more than just the fog that creeps up on you in the middle of the sea. Since the ocean has been battleground for many pirates and privateers, it is only fair to believe that the even the undead sometimes set sail.
One ghost story that will surly send chills up your spine is that of the infamous Blackbeard. The fall of this pirate was rather a brutal one. When Maynard finally had Blackbeard after twenty seven months of terrorizing the seas, he wanted to make sure that it really was the end of the pirates evil rein. So Maynard beheaded black beard and hung his head on the bowsprit and threw the rest of his body overboard.
Legend has it that that was not the end. It is believed that the headless body swam around the ship three times before finally giving in and that the head let out one last crippling cry “Come on, Edward!”- Blackbeard’s real name. From that day on, there have been numerous sightings of Blackbeard’s headless ghost searching for his lost head.
Ghost Pirate Costume
You do not need to lose your head to be scary. This Ghost Pirate Costume will do that for you. You get to keep your head, but you will be covering it with the skull mask that comes complete with a 3D skeleton shirt and bone gloves. The shirt is actually connected to a pale white vest. Then put the faded black knee length coat over. This actually features a stand up collar and has matching acid wash buttons running down the sides. The grey stone washed pants go perfectly with the whole outfit. Then tie it all together with the matching grey and off white thick belt that showcases a buckle embellished with skulls.
Of course, a pirate wouldn’t be caught dead, or would he, without his pirate hat. Even in the afterlife, top it all off with the faded black pirate hat.
The seven seas is about to get much chillier with this Pirate Halloween Costume.
