Gravelords, The High Seas Pirate – A Scary Skeleton Pirate Costume
You can have the best of both worlds if you want to dress up as a pirate but also want to scare your friends and family this Halloween. This is thanks to the high seas pirate, known as Gravelords which is a particularly macabre and grisly looking skeleton pirate costume.
So if you are tired of going to Halloween parties as a plain old pirate, or even as Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, then the Gravelords is the costume for you.
Who knows what happened to this pirate when he was in the land of the living. Maybe he crewed on the pirate ghost captain’s ship and the incompetent captain lead his men to a gruesome fate. Maybe they engaged the wrong vessel and were sent to the bottom of the sea and a watery grave. Davy Jones locker was their final resting place but now this pirate skeleton is back and he’s pretty angry !
The Gravelords skeleton pirate costume comprises a tattered and torn, gray coat/jacket. Under the jacket is a ragged gray shirt (that was once brilliant white). The ragged shirt is attached to a vinyl chest plate that is molded to look like rib bones with bits of green, brown gangrenous flesh hanging off them. It is an extremely well made mold and the colors are very vivid making it look very convincing.
For the face, you receive a half mask that covers the upper part of the face, leaving the jaw and mouth exposed. This is a very realistic looking mask, which follows on with the green, brown rotting flesh look of the rib cage. The poor old pirate still has his mustache but it too is a gray, brown color. The half face mask is good because you do not feel claustrophobic wearing it like some full face masks. So consequently, you can wear it longer and scare more people.
Finally you are given a red bandanna to cover the head.
This costume comes at a great price and is a favorite with all those who have purchased it.
